Group Legal Advisor

Oversee and manage the overall legal affairs of the Group
Manage/conduct due diligence for potential acquisitions as well as corporate exercises undertaken by the Group
Ensure that the companies within the Group are in compliance with the relevant law, legislation and guidelines
Manage a department comprising several legal managers and legal executives.

Possess a Degree in Law (LLB) with minimum 12 years’ legal work experience
Relevant experience and knowledge of plantation, property/real estate and/or manufacturing related environment, general corporate matters, mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures and conduct of due diligence
Well-versed with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements and Securities Commission guidelines
Experience in corporate sector and/or in mergers & acquisitions will be an advantage

Talent Management
Responsible for the entire recruitment process including administering the manpower requisition process, deliver quality candidates by sourcing, screening, interviewing and assessing applicants that match the qualifications, skills and the experience specified by the departmental managers.
To develop and implement effective recruiting and hiring strategies, procedures and practices that will result in attracting and retaining the highest qualified candidates and maximizing return on recruiting investment. This includes sourcing and new hire management, transfer and exit management, building rapport with the internal end user and with external parties.
To collaborate with the Heads of Departments to conduct job descriptions development and evaluation.
To develop selection techniques, methods or modes for recruitment;
To establish strong working relationship with internal and external partners i.e. recruitment /advertising agencies, education institutions, professional bodies and others and liaise with recruitment consultants on search for candidates and prepares profile summary of candidates proposed by consultants.
To carry out background and reference checks on candidates
Learning and Development Management
To identify the training needs for different levels of employees and to collaborate with managers to gather relevant inputs for training development and program implementation.
To administer the implementation of training program as planned in the yearly training calendar.
To source, evaluate and screen for training providers & access their credibility. To manage stringent selection process of training providers and assist in providing feedback to the Manager upon assessment to ensure the best training provider is being chosen.
To collaborate and liaise with professional resource persons and other training/learning institutions so as to ensure that training programs conducted are tailored and customized to company’s employee training needs.
To customize soft skills’ training programs and develop training designs to assist respective departments in tailoring training programs which are suited to the departmental needs.
To conduct orientation program for all new joined employees and conduct briefings on the company policies to the employees as and when needed.
To arrange all aspects of logistics and management of training classes related to delivery of training programs, including preparation of materials, communication with participants, tracking of attendance, set-up of facility, etc;
To monitor the training funding and maintain up-to-date records of all training delivered in personnel and electronic files
Payroll Management
To provide support on payroll related requests and issues.

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, Chinese, English
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Applicants must be willing to work in Kajang,Bukit Angkat.
Preferably Executives specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.

Lecturing/conduct training for Welding Inspectors courses
Lecturing both theoretical and practical aspect, demonstrate the usage of welding gauges and other inspection materials
Ensure all training activities and course materials used meets CSWIP requirement, where appropriate, CIDB requirement
Ensure all training activities/roles are carried out in accordance with TWI Quality Manual
To invigilate CSWIP Welding Inspectors examinations
Co-ordinate time to time with Administration/Operation Manager on course schedules
Travelling to designated destinations ((including overseas) as and when required
Perform other duties as and when required.

Candidates must possess at least Diploma or Degree or equivalent.
